Capacity Building Committee |
The Capacity Building Committee (CBC) seeks to improve community results and strengthen funded community partners by encouraging innovative approaches and maintaining/creating an efficient and effective nonprofit structure in Broome County.
Responsibilities
Capacity Building Fund The CBC administers the Capacity Building Fund in accordance with United Way policy. In addition to administering the fund, the CBC works with community stakeholders to discuss cost-sharing, shared service agreements, consolidations, and mergers.
Venture and Special Assistance Grant Review The CBC is responsible for overseeing the Venture and Special Assistance Grant Review process and is charged with approving the annual Request for Proposals.
Planned Capital Grants The CBC is responsible for overseeing the Planned Capital Grants process and is charged with approving the annual Request for Proposals.
Emergency Grants The CBC will be responsible for reviewing and administering all requests under the Emergency Grant Program in accordance with United Way policy.
Meeting Schedule
The CBC will meet monthly as needed.
