Our agencies need your help! Below is a list of the needs of our partner agencies, including volunteer opportunities. Database Consultant Crime Victims Assistance Center Integrate data collection programs. Multiple funders require separate use of data collection and reporting tools. All are in similar database, none interact with one another, which makes duplicate data entry. Diane Puccio, 723-3200

Discovering Diversity Profile - Diversity Assessment Tool Crime Victims Assistance Center Direct service providers' training in cultural competency. Coordinated by the Broome County Office of Mental Health Cultural Competence Initiative. Sue Linfoot, 723-3200
Domestic Violence Advocate YWCA of Binghamton/Broome County A large percentage of women residing at the YWCA have serious issues of domestic violence. Need a part-time advocate within the building to address this issue and work directly with the women. Nancy Johnson, 772-0340
Elderly Care Aid (in-home) Family and Children's Society Personal care aids needed to open their homes to one or two elderly/disabled clients to provide assistance with personal care, meals, medication, etc. Aids will be trained and compensated. Aids must own their own homes, live in Broome County, have an outside source of income, and be at home with the clients.  724-5256

Parent Daycare Aids YWCA of Binghamton/Broome County Parents needed to help out at daycare center one day a week on a rotating basis. Parent will receive a financial break on their child's tuition cost, such as $20 per week. Becky Krise, 772-0340 x237

Deposit Foundation and Rural Housing Services New mini-van for transporting seniors in the Deposit area to medical and other  appointments. Current van is over 5 years old and has about 100,000 miles on it.  Lynn Hartz, 467-4000
