Now, more than
ever, your support of United Way makes a major difference in our community! Donations also support Venture and Special Assistance Grants each year, funds for United Way’s five direct service programs, and donor-designated funds to non-member agencies. All together, United Way of Broome County supports more than 100 programs and services that assist community residents in six areas of community service (click on a link below to obtain more information about the programs in each area). These programs reach hundreds of your neighbors every day. United Way funded programs provided assistance to local people more than 190,000 times last year. Most people receive support from United Way some time during their lives. A United Way funded program may assist you during the coming year.
