The Voluntary Action Center of United Way of Broome County serves as a community-wide resource for information on volunteerism by assisting individuals and groups who want to become involved to identify volunteer opportunities, assisting agencies with information on a variety of issues related to volunteer program administration, and organizing community-wide events to promote volunteerism.  

The Voluntary Action Center Advisory Committee is currently inactive.
