Counseling (family) Family and Children's Society Parent Aide and Supervised Visitation Programs. Trained parent aides provide in-home visitations for where there are allegations of abuse and neglect, or a goal of preventing them. Early Childhood Related Topics Jewish Community Center Curriculum and teacher materials: create a peaceable classroom-in which children learn to work together and resolve conflicts without fighting. Home Care Aides Family and Children's Society Trained home care aides help homebound with personal care, housekeeping, meal preparation and grocery shopping, errands, and respite for caregivers. Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, depending on aide availability. On-call staff are available after program office hours. 772-9776
In-Home Mental Health Management Program. Trained in-home aides and Registered Nurses provide care for those with mental illness. Aides provide assistance with daily living and RN manages medication. Pat Curry-Wilson, 772-9776
Housing Deposit Foundation and Rural Housing Services The Mansard House, 45 Second Street, Deposit. Four unit apartment building, including one handicapped-accessible unit (one bedroom). Support Groups
YWCA of Binghamton/Broome County Has a twice a month Recovery Group for women who have experienced substance abuse or dependency. It is a social group, not therapeutic in nature. Women attending to to  12-step meetings together, watch recovery oriented movies, and do social activities promoting a sober lifestyle. any woman in the community is invited. Terri Shields,
